BuyBoard has helped local governments of all sizes achieve economies of scale when purchasing products and services. We were created to support public schools, municipalities, counties, other local government agencies, and nonprofits. HGACBuy
We are a nationwide, Government-to-Government procurement service striving to make the governmental procurement process more efficient. Government agencies, and non-profits providing governmental services, are eligible to become members of the HGACBuy Cooperative. All contracts available to participating members of HGACBuy have been awarded by virtue of a public competitive procurement process compliant with state statutes. Membership is free.
Texas SmartBuy
A Texas SmartBuy contract is a competitively bid purchasing agreement that allows state agencies, local governments, and state-funded organizations to buy goods and services at pre-negotiated, discounted rates. Managed by the Texas Comptroller’s Statewide Procurement Division (SPD), these contracts eliminate the need for individual entities to conduct lengthy bidding processes. The State of Texas uses its massive buying power to negotiate contracts with approved vendors. Local entities benefit from bulk state pricing without needing to meet individual spending thresholds.
