Class A CDL Driver

We are looking for a Class A-CDL Driver to transport and operate our Hydra Platform trucks and trailers to our rental and/or sales clients.

Jobs and deliveries will be throughout the United States and could last indefinitely.
Must be available and willing to travel during the week and weekends based on jobsite location. Home base is York, SC Must live within reasonable commuting distance to York, SC.

Responsibilities:

Drive and deliver Hydra Platform Trucks and/or Trailers (under-bridge access equipment) to clients throughout the United States
Become a Certified Operator and Trainer to perform operations of under-bridge access equipment
Provide under-bridge access equipment training for customers
Provide excellent customer service
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Maintain FMCSA/DOT compliance
Maintain accurate and up-to-date Electronic Driver Logs
Use best practices to provide a safe work environment

Qualifications:

Class A CDL
1 – 2 Years driving experience
Clean driving record
Experience in rental equipment business or crane operations preferred
Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate
Must be able to pass drug/alcohol screening and background check
Mechanically inclined
Work well independently and as a team
Detail oriented
Good physical stamina/strength and manual dexterity
Must be able to climb, stand, stoop, bend, twist
Must be able to work from the Hydra Platform work bridge while suspended in high places
Personal appearance to be clean, neat and professional

Special Requirements:

CDL-A holders are required to register for the FMCSA Drug & Alcohol Clearinghouse for consideration. Candidates who have not registered on the site cannot be considered. https://clearinghouse.fmcsa.dot.gov/

Education:

Class-A CDL Training Program
High School Diploma (or equivalent)
Some post-secondary education a plus

Position:

Full-time
Overtime for hours worked over 40 in a calendar week
Per Diem for Overnight
