Mechanical Assembler

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who take pride in their job, are efficient with their time, adds value, and thrives in a team-oriented environment to join our Mechanical Assembly Team. Successful candidates will have prior work experience in mechanical assembly of large mechanical equipment and be capable of reading blueprints and schematics successfully.

Job Responsibilities:

Assemble under-bridge access platform trucks and trailer components accurately, thoroughly and quickly to approved specifications
Proficiently read or understand blueprints/assembly drawings, or demonstrate capacity to learn
Verify the parts required, prior to assembly
Verify all connections to ensure they match, are joined correctly and to specifications
Perform other related duties as required

Qualifications:

High school diploma/GED required
2+ years experience in mechanical assembly of large mechanical equipment
Must be fit for duty, with the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift 50+ lbs
Must be reliable, able to be on time for daily shift, and have dependable transportation
Follow all safe work practices, and wear proper PPE
Familiarization with the tools, instrumentation and calibration equipment
Experience with power and hand tools
Familiar with electrical and hydraulic schematics
Basic math and good communication skills

Requirements:

Must have at least 2 years work experience as mechanical assembler in a manufacturing facility of large mechanical equipment to be considered
Must be able to reasonably commute to York, SC on a daily basis and have dependable transportation
