Shop Service Technician

We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated individuals who take pride in their job, are efficient with their time, adds value, and thrives in a team-oriented environment to join our Shop Service Technician Team. Successful candidates will have prior work experience in mechanical assembly of large mechanical equipment and be capable of reading blueprints and schematics successfully.

We are looking for someone who can:

Perform preventative maintenance, restoration and repair of Hydra Platform equipment at our location and occasionally at the customer’s location
Has a Mechanical background with hydraulics
Has Proficient knowledge of Electrical schematics and diagrams
Has good Troubleshooting abilities
Being able to weld and read welding blueprints is a plus

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years work experience repairing and maintaining equipment and small engines (Our technicians do not work on diesel or gasoline truck engines.)
Work experience as an automobile mechanic or similar trade
Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record
Must be fit for duty, with the ability to stand for long periods of time, bend, lift 50+ lbs
Must be reliable, able to be on time for daily shift, and have dependable transportation
Must be able to reasonably commute to York, SC on a daily basis

Ideal Candidate would have experience in multi-craft maintenance (small engines, hydraulics and automotive electrical).
